Story Ejector Housing

Any opinions on fit and finish of the Story Ejector Housings?

I have used a bunch and have always been pleased.

I recently bought two Story Ejector Rod Housings from Midway (I believe it was Midway.) Both were for a studded barrel. The fit on my 4-5/8" is near perfect; on the 7-1/2" a very small gap exists between the cylinder frame and the housing (maybe 1/4 mm.) The convex surface is polished and shiny blue. On the concave surfaces the finish is flat. I find them acceptable.

I've used one. I put it on my Old Model 7.5" .45 Colt. It fit the bushing and frame just fine.
The color matched as well.

The only complaint and it's not really much of one is that the housing stands proud of the frame at the read a little bit.
