SUPER BLACKHAWK SHORT EJECTOR ROD

Good morning. Wondering if anybody else has this problem: I have a stainless Ruger Super Blackhawk - 3 1/2" barrel - and I find that the ejector rod is too short to even touch the empty cases. Anybody else have this problem, or is this a factory issue problem. It certainly appears to be a factory part.

Any input would be helpful.

Oops! Ever find out yer not as smart as yer dog thinks you are? Sorry to bother y'all. Stuck casing - if I just push HARD , everything works as designed. My mistake.

Good deal. The only issue with that short housing is getting the cylinder out.
