SR9 replacement barrel?

I am having trouble finding a replacement barrel for my SR9. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I called Ruger and they do not offer them either! They told me the gun would have to be shipped to them for "fitting".

Please tell me there is an aftermarket solution.

What is wrong the barrel that came with it?

I am having the crown of the barrel engraved and if I decide to carry it I would like to swap it out with a non-engraved barrel. I don't think the court would look favorably on a defensive shooting if the barrel of the gun has engraved on it's crown, "Smile wait for flash"

I figured it would be a simple replacement part, but I am learning that is not the case.

I think I am going to change the engraving to "Ugly Holsters" or Cleveland's Holsters" if they can.

I'm gonna have mine engraved, too- at the back of the slide, in the same print as 'SR9c'...it'll be my intials, first 2 small over the short spot, then my last initial to fit the big spot at the very end.
