Just got back from the range where I ran a couple new shooters through their paces. One was my new Ruger SR22. Had a bulk pack of Winchester and the little Ruger chewed up a coupe hundred rounds in short order with nary a hitch. I gave it a fast cleaning and oiling before we left. I like this gun and my sweetie liked it too. She put probably 7-8 mags through it herself and I may be buying a second one. Anyway, it's a keeper and fits nicely in the 10-22 take down bag in it's own storage pouch. Glad I got one of these.
The other newbie was a S&W Shield 9. Flawless performance and has easily found a niche in my summer carry stable. Good weather, a day off from work and two new shooters that did not disappoint. Life is good.
