Hey guys,
Searched several websites for this same issue, but no luck. I bought a new 4" SP101 earlier this year. Wasn't impressed with the grittiness of the factory trigger, so I bought some Arkansas stones & used the Kevin Wilson website as a guide to smooth the metal-to-metal contact points. I also put in a Wolf hammer spring (didn't mess with the return spring) & some of the Michigan Center Outdoors shims.

I only shot about 20 rounds through it before the modifications, so I don't remember what it felt like before. I now notice that when I squeeze the trigger when shooting it single-action, my finger "catches" the trigger which prevents the hammer from falling. The workaround I've found is to adjust my grip so that the very tip of my trigger finger is applying pressure to the trigger, and to squeeze very hard & fast (not good for accurate shooting). I swapped the factory hammer spring back in but get the same result.

Here's a quick video I made that shows the problem:

Any ideas on what's going on? I didn't really go crazy with the polishing but if anyone has any idea on what I might've messed up, I'm all ears.
