I have the Wolff 10# hammer spring in my SP101. Definitely an improvement.
I just picked up a slightly used GP100 and the DA trigger pull feels much lighter than my SP101 with the 10# spring.
I was planning on replacing the hammer spring in the GP when I first bought it but I really don't think I would want it any lighter than it is now. It's possible that the previous owner had already replaced the spring.
What is the factory hammer spring weight on the GP100?

The factory spring is 14 pounds I believe. Some folks like the 12 and some like the rather light 10 pound spring in the GP. The reason the GP trigger is lighter is because the parts are bigger and you have more leverage. :D

That probably explains it. After dry firing both guns again I have to say that the GP trigger doesn't feel that much lighter than the 10# SP spring...just a tiny bit lighter. I like it the way it is so I don't think I'll be changing the springs on it.
