SP101 Front Sight Removal

When removing the front sight crosspin, is there a special direction to push the pin? Right to left, or left to right and is the direction determined by looking down the barrel or looking at the muzzle. Thanks for any and all replies!

On the front sight,, I don't think there is a specific direction. It's a straight hole/pin design, not tapered.

Redhawk91454 - What contender said is correct. FYI, when talking about the left or right side typically it is as you are holding the firearm in your hand(s) looking toward the front sight unless you specify that you are looking at the front of the muzzle. Hope this helps.

L and R are "as viewed from the operator station".

yes, that left or right was meant for back in the day, when the rear sight was a dovetail, and they were slightly tapered, so , back out, the way it when in......
