Front sight a little loose

Got some side to side movement with the factory front sight on a Blackhawk, is this a problem that needs to be fixed or not a big deal?

Should be no movement. Is it just the blade that moves or the entire base?

if its just the blade, pinned in place, just squeeze in a bit of super glue, NOT the gel one....let it set, then clean up around the blade the next day....

Yep, just the blade, I’ll go buy some super glue…(the runny stuff).

btw…what do I "clean up" with the next day?… what did you use?

I use nail polish remover or acetone. Just use a tiny drop of glue and you will have little or no cleanup. For dove tails that drift use a SMALL drop of medium lock tight. You may want to move it latter.
