Some good tooling!!!!

I bought some bits for my drimmel a couple of weeks ago from CHINA, I know what your thinking. Well the ones I buy from drimmel are JUNK and do a bad job I was really surprised when I first tried the china ones they were so smooth and cut so fast with no JUMPING and they are carbide also, don't care if you guys want to try them or not but I am sold and I'm 80 years old and know a good tool from a bad one.

My dad had a dremel when I was a kid in the 1940`s. I just bought one about two months ago for the first time. I was packing a S&W model 36 with a 3 " barrel under my shirt. I don't recall even bumping into anything but broke a piece of the hammer spur off. I couldn't find another nice one and decided to buy a dremel and bob the hammer. I am the last person to try something like that but i googled a article showing how to do it and it worked out like a pro had done it. They are fine tool.

I, for one, would like to know what brand these are sold under, and where you got them. The tool bits I've bought are all Dremel brand, so I've just used my Dremel tool for sanding mostly since the bits I have don't do what I want done.

I got them off of E-BAY They sure are smooth none of that jumping and biting in to what your working on NO MORE DRIMMEL TOOLING FER ME.

It is rare, but I have found that some Chinese off-brand stuff is better than the brand name stuff.. I have also found some China made Dremmel Tool stuff that is far better.. They seem to last longer for me.. So I agree with the O.P.

Slightly off thread, I just bought a Kershaw Cryo knife for my EDC. Made in China, of good quality and works just fine. Under $25.

Chances are very high that the Dremel brand are also made in China, but are cut differently or the base material is different.
Items of varying quality will come from there, from very bad to very good. It's what grade the contractor has them make, or what level the manufacturer decides to or is capable of making, just like any other country. Simply saying, made in China, is no longer an indicator of quality.

The Dremel bits alone don't determine the outcome. Since the Dremel is handheld, there is still a very big part on the part of the user and they require a great deal of finesse.

I've used one, but not for fine finishing work. Just call me a skeptic about ANY Dremel accessory.

I just looked at the container that came with 10 of the bits and their is NO name on it Sorry.
