Hey y'all! I took apart both of my SP101s today for the first time to polish up the internals and install some lighter springs, and I noticed something interesting on the top left of the trigger housing group: an etched in smiley face. The smiley face was in the same spot on BOTH SP101s even though they were purchased from separate retailers and were only turned into a smith to have sights installed (I guess I should ask them about that first?). The smiley faces are different from one another as well so its definitely someone messing around. Don't know if its someone on the factory line or just the local smith messing around, but this has peaked my curiosity. I'd post the pics I took on here but I can't figure how to link it in with the image attachment setup they have on here. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this before I guess. I'm not mad about it or anything, just found it funny and it got me curious. Probably just my local smith messing around though... lol

It may be the way your gunsmith "signs" his work.
