How do you carry your 9 1/2 " single six when out in the woods ?

Belt holster works for me .I use a Hunter 1100 74 and it fits pretty good . It is a little loose but the retention strap keeps it from "jumping" out . I also put a super red hawk in that same holster when I am in need of something bigger.......

Belt holster also. I believe its a Hunter model that I got the same year as the Ruger (in 1976). It fits well.

Mine aint a 9 1/2" `er but still pretty long. Here is the holster I made for it.

Very similar to the Hunter holsters that are inexpensive and good useful and practical holsters.

My one Son carries his in a belt Nylon Uncle Mikes holster & my other Son & Myself carry them in leather belt holsters. Three of us carry & shoot the RSS9's, & I have one Son that just likes the RSSM's. We have tried to get him to come over from the 'DARK' Side...... Kids!!!!!

The top 2 are Hunter. The bottom one is from Idaho Leather and a stainless 9 1/2" lives in it.
