Whats a new in box MKII Target blued w/ bull barrel worth? Early 1980's model (83 or 84). Guy's offered it in trade but is unsure of value. Anything I should look for? Don't want my Ruger weakness to overwhelm my billfold!

I'm assuming 5.5" barrel. They routinely sell for $275.00 to $325.00. I see people asking some crazy prices for the blued BB. But that is what I see them sell for. I have bought 2 Blued BBs last year for under $300.00 and a SS for $315.00 with 5 mags. I spend at least 3 hrs every night online looking for MKIIs.

Welcome to the Forum!
The above post is good,, if you are willing to do some serious shopping,, and be able to buy it quickly. In general,, around here they bring about $350-$375 for a NIB example.

Hi, and welcome!

I know each market's different, but here in the SoCal neighborhoods I visit, I could probably get $50-$75 more for my blue MK512 than the $260 or so it cost eight or nine years ago w/o any discussion. And that's "used" price.

So, to me, Contender's mention of NIB around $350 sounds like a bargain, and I probably wouldn't flinch at $375. But that's judging by OUR prices: be sure to do your homework! Seems a bargain always pops up if you're patient.

One thing's for sure though, you just don't see many of them for sale. At least I don't. I've got one in stainless. I thought about selling it a few years ago, but I sure am glad I didn't.

Thanks for the info! I ended up trading for it. Box is a little rough,no paperwork, but it came with a new OEM mag. Can't bring myself to shoot it, so I may try to turn it and look for a beater!
