Ruger Blackhawk 3 screw ?

no they did not. It could possibly be a rare factory nickel gun, but my guess it is after market nickeled, hard chromed (Looks like stainless) or just had the finish polished off.

Very doubtful.

That gun showed up on Bob's List quite a few years back, and is not noted as being anything other than "standard issue".

I'd hazard a guess the steel parts have been plated and the aluminum parts stripped of their finish.

write down the serial number, put a cheque in the mail for $10 to Ruger. They will let you know how it left the factory for sure.

So far everybody is saying it is not factory, The gripframe and ejector housing have had the blueing/paint removed.

So far as I know, all Ruger stainless guns are all stainless. This looks from the photo to be chrome, not nickel.

I ended up with one of those, once. Thought it was Stainless. Took it to the range and one cylinder full of .357's peeled the Nickel from the cylinder. It took a while, but I finally found a local plating house to re-do the cylinder. I sold it cheap with full disclosure to the buyer.
