I recently acquired a 77/357 which has been a pleasure to shoot. It
has a crisp trigger pull but would help if it was a tad lighter. I have
heard or read somewhere that the Valquartson Sear and spring they
sell for the 77/22 will fit just fine in the 77/357 as it is the same
trigger group. Can anyone confirm this or point me to some info
that will help me determine if this is true. If so I will be ordering
a new sear and spring and I think it is supposed to bring it down
to about 1.5 pound pull.
thanks

This from a 77/357 thread in the rifle section.

I only shot mine with irons enough to be confident they were properly aligned.

I put a low power variable on mine and couldn't be happier... Volquartsen sells a replacement sear (marketed for the 77/22 but they share the same lockwork) that will usually make a marked improvement in the trigger (it's not hard to install either).
