A fellow at work sold me a like new Ruger All-Weather 77/22 in 22 Hornet yesterday, what a fine looking firearm, he says it shoots great, I hope it shoots as good as it looks.....

Nice, I have the regular model in the Hornet. Its a great shooter with very mild recoil. I have the RS in .22 WMR and the All weather in .22LR (KVBZ). All of them are pretty accurate. They are great for target shooting and not beating myself up with recoil prepping for hunting season.

I have a Ruger 77/22 Hornet All Weather also. It does'nt shoot MOA yet, but I am working on a couple different loads. So far, Lil Gun seems to be the best powder choice. I just installed an aftermarket trigger spring that reduced the trigger pull by a couple of pounds. A recently acquired bench rest will aid in the accuracy testing. I have hopes of getting under MOA without too many modifications.

I have a Ruger Hornet.
Over the years I have loaded 4227 and got a 1 1/2 inch group.
This time I said heck lets try 2400. I load 9.9 grains of 2400 and you can cover the group with a DIME.

Madison,
What bullet are you shooting and do you know how far off the lands you are seating the bullet? I have been using Hornday V-max 35 gr. I orginally thought my gun was pretty accurate until a really got serious and did some target shooting.
