I just bought a sn 84xx 41 rem mag 3 screw ruger blackhawk.The problem is the aluminum frame broke in the trigger guard .Its has the barrel sites frane cyender ejector and the alunium frane .It has the screws in the main frame but needs the grip screws and a grip frame and the spring assembly .I know this pistol is worth fixiing jusf needs parts .The bore is awesone so is the main frame .How many 41 rem mag 3 screws were made and how much are they worth .It almost got thrown out in a trash box i rescued it and want this thing shooting again .Is Ruger still putting the transfer bars in for free ?

I like survivor stories. I'm sure most here would try to encourage you to not have it converted to a transfer bar so take notice that their opinions are forthcoming :-)

You can also get aftermarket frames from a few different sources, including brass frames.

I too will state that you shouldn't send it to Ruger for the transfer bar safety. As noted,, parts are available from several sources. Including the Classifieds here.
You need an OM XR3-RED grip frame, the screws, and the mainspring assy. Shouldn't be too hard to find them.
Production numbers. They started with #1, and went to 15967. then due to the 1968 GCA act,, Ruger added a prefix to the production. Those went from 40-00001 to 40-22906. So, by that tally, the production numbers would be 38873 guns.
HOWEVER,,, there was a batch of duplicated numbers between 10395 to 10895, but NOT marked as duplicates. So add another 500 guns to that total,, which is 39379.
This info comes from the RENE.
Value would be be subjective on the condition,, completeness of the proper parts, and a few other things. The barrel length makes a difference, (4-5/8" or 6-1/2"???) . From around $500 for a shooter grade,, to upwards of $950 for a "Non-Inc" marked barrel 4-5/8" in minty condition. If the barrel is a 6-1/2" then the value drops to about $800 for a minty non-inc barreled one.

I did send my OM .41 to Ruger. I had a gun in very poor condition and I had them put on a steel Old Army frame and ejector housing and re blue the gun. Of course they converted it and I un-converted it when I got it back. The work was fairly cheap and the cost savings from the free shipping was substantial. Now I might attempt that work myself but blue jobs seem hard to come by locally. Of course if you do send it now take out the OM parts first and keep them.,
