Same situation - running Mac so I asked them and this was reply:
"You will find there really isn't much for shooters that will work
on Macs.
We started business as a Mac software company. With advent of the
Intel Macs, more Mac owners bought Windows versions. Why? Because
all the devices for shooting do not support Macs. Chronographs,
powder dispensers, etc. do not work with Macs. Mac owners could
use Apple's Free Bootcamp to boot into windows and run everything
available.
We continued selling the Mac version until it did not even pay for
annual licensing costs of development tools, then the writing was
on the wall. That is now more than 10 years ago.
Your solution is to get an old copy of Windows from someone (even
an OEM version will work if you have the key sticker number that
was on the bottom of the computer) and download Apple's Bootcamp.
Then you can run anything that is available with full connectivity.
Windows 7 would be my choice."
and
"Actually, Shooting Lab has a built in backup utility that writes
one big compressed zip file you can keep on a thumb drive, cd or
another hard drive. You can then also easily move data back and
forth from your range laptop and an old clunk on the reloading
bench."
That said, my son is going to load up a windows 7 - I already have a old windows version running some old 98 Sidekick software I have refused to give up because 29 years of my life was on it and there was no program to auto convert to a newer one.
So currently thats the plan if I like the demo after uploaded.
Sam - thanks for the comeback - have not heard a negative about it yet except won't run on Mac LOL
