Robert Duvall gone at 95

Your are correct on the quote but he was one of the lynch mob in hang em high.
Uh, never in the movie. Your probably confusing him with Bruce Dern or Alan Hale(Skipper from Gilligans Island). Also two actors that are/were at the top of their craft.

RD in his later years- Days of Thunder and Jack Reacher. Do you think Tom Cruise loved having him in his movies? Yeah, I think so!

Joe Kidd was a great Duvall movie. Bring me Lueese Chayma! LOL Don Stroud was always good, and always playing the punk Paul Koslo.

In 1963 I saw this episode of "Miniature," on "The Twilight Zone" it was the first that I had seen Robert Duvall.

Robert Duvall had an impressive acting career, and among his TV roles is an episode of The Twilight Zone that only keeps getting better. Before he starred in one of the best movies of all time, Robert Duvall was part of various TV shows, beginning in 1959 with the anthology drama series Armstrong Circle Theater.

The question is, if you use an actor's image or previous video in new productions does the actor's heirs receive compensation?
In fact with these AI shorts we see using living people, shouldn't those folks receive compensation?

AI is getting us closer to not needing any actors at all. With all the footage availalbe, AI will be able to create new stories with long dead actors who will look and sound as real as the real thing.
Some current actors are brain dead or as Archie Bunker would say, Meatheads. Sound right to you vito?

Since this has a thread drift,, I will say that I heard that actor Matthew McConnahy (spelling?) trademarked his name & likeness to protect himself from AI crap.

Many years ago I read an article where the author said that we have enough archival film of some actors, like Humphrey Bogart, and enough sound recordings of his voice, that it would not be many years before computers could manipulate that film footage and sound recording and come up with a brand new movie starring the long dead Humphrey Bogart that would look totally real. The video of Robert Duvall, and similar things that I have seen on the internet, such as the pairing of people in their youth with themselves now, done seamlessly, shows that we are at or at least clost to that point already.
