Shortly before I retired 2 years sgo I fabricated a bracket that would straddle the horizontal 2x4's that are for holding targets at my gun club. I needed a way to easily hang a rimfire steel target. Originally it just held a 6" round plate, then this past Sunday I picked up a Champion diamond shaped spring loaded target that I modified and attached to the top of the bracket. Worked good. Then yesterday to make the bracket more versatile I drilled a 1" hole through the rectangular tube and welded two 15/16" inside diameter shaft collars in place. I then slid the tube through the holes and a couple of the KYL spinners.
So now the bracket holds pistol and rimfire rifle steel targets that sets up in 30 seconds by simply tightening the pointed screw on the back side to hold it in place while shooting.
