Rimfire Central

I frequent about 6-7 gun forums one of which is Rimfire Central. Here for about the last 4 days or so every time I sign on to it I will shortly get the whole screen going orange and some kind of messages about a virus wanting me to click on something to run a scan, which I don't do. Wonder if anyone else is having the same issue? That is the only forum that I'm having this issue with.

Thanks for the replies. It must be something just occuring for me, but it's funny because it doesn't occur on any other forums. It's a bummer because I really like being on Rimfire Central.

Check your system for malware, cookies, etc.
May be good reminder to update passwords too.

If using a laptop or PC, click the 3 dots in the upper left of the address bar and open settings, then select "delete browsing data"

I just logged onto Rimfire Central this afternoon for about a half hour and did not experience any problems, so hopefully my issue has gone away. I hope, I hope, I hope.

@wproct try clearing your cookies. Google can tell you how to do this for the device/browser you’re using. Go to www.google.com, type in “ how do I clear cookies on (edge, chrome, etc)”

If nobody else at Rimfire was having this, then you should still do cleaning processes as it might still be in your computer.

Here is an update to my issue. I tried again and thought the issue had gone away, but then it popped up again. So finally in desperation I started using the Microsoft browser instead of Google. So far no more problems. We will if it lasts. PS, the microsoft browser is a little slower, but if if solves my issuel that is ok.
