They went through like PHTTT through a goose. Remember, they were lubed just like brass cases to be resized. The die had a bevel put on it, I used a flattop punch, and all of it was quite effortless when we got it all in gear. Actually I remember putting bullets through it both rightsideup and upside down. The bullet lube in both grooves [ gotta maintain the crimp groove too...] was JAVALINA 4138ALOX/BEESWAX
It is sorta funny that you mentioned not trusting your 450 to do it, because one time many years ago a guy ask me where I got the 450 and he said it was built much burlier than his. Mine was one of the very first Buckeye Shooters Supply in Canton OH got it. Now for the life of me I cannot remember exactly when that was....maybe 1970 or '71....??
