I have some various hard cast bullets that I was thinking of powder coating at some point.
Is there an easy way to remove the bullet lube from these...the red or blue type in the grooves?

Boil in water pour off boil again in clean water pour off ready to powder coat. Have found it not necessary to clean further

Related question......

Could one not powder-coat the entire bullet, just as it comes out of the box?....that's what I do with Liquid Alox, and it works just fine.

A little cleaning on bullets without lube would help the powder stick better possibly.
I might try powder coating at some point.

I usually soak them in gas for an hour or so and rinse with mineral spirits and have never had a problem with the powder coat.

I asked a similar question, here or elsewhere lately. I'm in same boat, with some cast bullets that just aren't working as is, but might if PC'd. These solutions sound do-able to me !
