REM Finish P-Guns

I just can't believe you are boasting and bragging like that without posting pictures to help rub it in..... :lol:
I was fondling some of my stainless P's and that got me motivated to order some more mags for them. Midway is limiting to two each mag but CDNN didn't have any limits. Oh I still have the KP944 and it remains unfired.... but might not much longer.

One of the best in my humble collection. I have a couple that are more rare but not as nice for sure. I don't even remember how much I paid for it. After I got it that didn't matter much anymore. There are others I have that the price just burns me.

The Rem guns ARE so smooth. Still wish that you would have scored that last REM 944 I had Roy. At least you got the ammo.

Tell me more about this finish
It is a very rare finish on the P-guns only offered in 1996 as far as I know. Ruger also calls it Target Gray on the super Redhawk revolver. They also put out a GP100 as a special run. (I really want one of these too but have not had the money when I found one or not found one when I had the money)
Ruger tumbles the stainless parts in some sort of chemical that makes the finish. Or at least that is what I understand.
There has been other posts on here that may explain it better.

Hope this helps, I know it really doesn't tell you a lot about the specifics of the REM finish but once you see it in person I feel you will love it.
I have found one person that didn't like it on his Super redhawk but that is a rare case.
