Redhawks gone?

"In the latest installment in "everything old is new again," Ruger has announced that 2013 will see a return of the Redhawk and Super Redhawk chambering in .480 Ruger."

These were brought back by popular demand after legions of shooters kept calling, emailing, and otherwise writing the company to bring the guns back."

Granted it's almost a year old, but it does show that Ruger has given this some thought.

Several problems with this "article" posting, starting in that it is "just" a posting by a blog contributor, not referencing anything officlal by the manufacturer.
Also, "...a return of the Redhawk and Super Redhawk chambering in .480 Ruger." Everyone knows the Redhawk was never chambered in 480R.
Alas, the title of the post is inaccurate in itself; "The Redhawk 480 is Back"; in real life it never was.

The Super RH was offered in 480R in 2013 and is still cataloged in said chambering. The Redhawk is a totally different gun.

Still nothing official from the company on the return. let's hope they re-invest in the model.

Well, everything here is just postings by 'net contributors, as well.

Agree that we need official Company clarification to be certain.

I posted elsewhere that it is merely on "vacation" while Ruger gets caught up with the production of some other revolvers, mainly the SRH. It will be back.
