[Heavy Barrel]

Have a Redhawk bought new in 1983,ser # 500-XXXXX.Sent to Mag-na-port in 1984,had action re worked and Mag-na-ported.Has Ruger V notch front and rear sights,have original sights.Has been fired probably less than 50 rds. and is in near new condition.I'm starting to let go of most of what I have and looking for a reasonable value.

If it happens to be 357, please let me know because I am in the market. If it is 44 and stainless I would say $650-$700 unless you happen to have some goodies to go with it. Besides caliber, you also didn't let us know barrel length or finish.

Caliber is 44 M,stainless,7 1/2" barrel

A couple years back I sold one mint in the box with shipper for $700.00 I think.
Mine was 2nd year production, unfired. Not Mag-Na-Ported which around here kills the value.

I know of one 357 Ruger RH, an older one - not a new one, currently available. I will PM you the info.

I've got a 1984 vintage RH in 357. It's just a marvelous field piece...

Around here Magnaporting reduces the value also. There has been one at the local gun show for months at a reasonable price with no takers.

I think magnaporting kills the value most anywhere with few exceptions. Longer barrel makes it more difficult to sell as well. Actual value $500 - $575 (maybe). Upper end is everyone has to get lucky once in a while. It could happen.
