Re-blue suggestions

I have a factory heavy hammer forged barrel for a 10-22. I would like to get it re-blued and would like for it to look as close to possible to what the factory blue looked like.

Does ruger still do reblue jobs. Is there a better Alternative. It belongs to my dad so there is sentimental attachment to me. Thanks for all of your help.

why not give Ruger a call and ask them?? as for the barrel , about any GOOD shop that does bluing can do this for you, and as a "barrel" only ( part) you can mail it anywhere, no need for an 'FFL'.....if you want or NEED the entire gun "refinshed", then that a different story....call Ruger

A long gun can be mailed for repair without need of FFL.

I'm certain that Ruger would insist on having the entire gun; it's easier to keep track of.
