Which link would I want to remove to disable double action? What would be the exploded view part number? Thanx in advance.

To meet an exception to the CA approved handgun list which requires any revolver not on the list to be single action with a barrel longer than 3 inches. It's a California thing :o) Thanks for the response.

GP100man, I had no idea such a conversion was possible. I fired 6 rounds DA when my GP was new, just to prove good function, but I am pretty sure I will never shoot it DA again. I would like to disable DA just because I CAN. Is the parts removal super simple, NO gunsmithing required? Would reinstalling them be just as easy?

Remove the hammer, remove the DA sear sticking out the front of it, replace the hammer. Don't even need to take the gun apart.

No DA sear, no DA

KHO1900 , the plunger & spring will/needs to come out also .
Taking that part out will let either the hammer OR the trigger move the cylinder. Not that it matters.

Huh? That's not right. The GP-100 is on the list. KGP-141 is the 4", KGP-161 the 6" in SS.

There are plenty of double action revolvers on the CA list with barrels longer than 3".

Cheers!
