Pop-up Ads

All of a sudden I am besieged by lots of pop-ups complete with sound! They are timed so that you can't turn them off til they run their course.

Extremely annoying to say the least and disruptive of concentration.

How do I get rid of them?

Clean your computer.
Delete Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and Browsing History daily.
Perform Disk Cleanup.
Run something similar to Malwarebytes along with your AVG or Norton, etc.

There 18,342 good free programs out there that will eliminate all ads and popups.
I haven't seen an ad in exactly 7,436 days.

The AdBlock program and you can eliminate them, PLUS tick off NO END of other web sites that want to pop up ads on your screen.

Totally concur! I have had ad block plus installed and there are sites that say that the ads pay for their use and would I like to turn off my ad blocker and see the ad? A resounding "No." is clicked as an answer.
