So at one time I used photobucket to host my pictures. They started charging so I switched to Imgur. When I first started using Imgur it was easy to upload. You just e-mailed the pic.'s to your account there & the uploaded. Then you had to get their app. Now I can't figure out how to do it with the app. I may be technologically challenged & a bit cheap but I am thinking I need to find yet another alternative for this. Who do you use to host your pictures so you can post them on forums?

You must be using a mobile device with Imgur? Is that what you are asking about? I think their website is pretty easy to use on the computer or laptop. But I haven’t tried the app on a mobile device, like my iPad.

I use Imgur on my laptop. It is, by far, the easiest photo hosting service that I have tried........and it is free.

I use Flickr and it works well. Probably not as easy to use as Imgur but once you get used to it, no problems.

I like Imgur. I just open the photo on any application on my computer. Then I minimize that window by hitting the box in the middle at the top right corner.

Then I open Imgur and go to my "images" and I minimize that window. Then I simply drag my photo to the Imgur window. It's a lot more simple than it sounds.

That would be correct. Trying to upload from my I phone using their app. I have done it in the past but don't remember what I did. I don't want to take the time & trouble to send them to my computer. Microsoft keeps trying to get me to sync my phone with my laptop but I honestly don't want to do that either.

I will most likely try post images. I don't want to go through setting it up tonight but I will try to get to it in the next few days.

Thank you to everyone who commented & made suggestions.

I really don't remember any set up with post images... you just go to the site and it is simple... but what you do need to do is go ahead and create a file for different types of photos to go in... at least for me...

and like I said, I use it so much I finally realized I was obligated to send them some money for their service.
