Penn cast bullets 357

I've been quite happy with the 158gr truncated cone bevel based bullets. I load the "Premium" alloy bullets in .357 brass though I mainly shoot medium speed loads using Unique or Universal. I load the other alloy bullets (CAA I think it's called) in .38 special brass (using the same powders loading mostly standard loads with a few +P).

My .357 is an Anniversary Blackhawk, I shoot the .38s in a variety of Smiths and a Colt Cobra.
All loaded rounds have shot well with no significant leading.
I called and placed my order by phone and the bullets arrived about 1 week later.

Can't ask for more than that (in my opinion).

Hope this helps, Good luck with your decision,

-Stephen

I like Penn Bullets a lot and use the 158 & 125 truncated cone in the .357
These are the hard alloy ones he makes ..

125g -- 18.3g of H-110 -- CCI 550 primers -- 1350 fps

158g -- 14.0g of 2400 -- CCI 500 primers -- 1400 fps

These are both loads out of a Ruger 7.5" Bisley and leave no leading in the barrel.

As always work up your own load starting lower..
