Does anybody know of a source for a Patridge sight blade for a 6" GP100? My gun is about 3 years old.
I checked the Ruger website and they offer only one blade for the GP100, a red ramp which I don't want.
Thanks.

Bowen Classic Arms has this. Make it into what you want.

Well, I found this one at Dawson Precision and have it installed now.

It is not quite a patridge sight since it has a slight ramp, but I think it will be a big improvement over the factory sight.
I don't know why Ruger doesn't offer a patridge sight for this gun, since it has a quick change front sight system. Why use the system, but not offer a selection of sights? Beats me!
Anyhow, be aware that this is definitely not a 'drop in'. It needed filing on several surfaces, and reblueing afterwards. And although I like it, it does not look exactly like the depiction on their website. Here's mine, installed.

Cost is $25 plus shipping.

That Dawson sight is the closest I've seen to a patridge. How much fitting did you have to do?

How does the sight picture look compared to the original ramp? The ramp sight always looks blurry to me but, the patridge sights on other guns I have is nice and clear.

Several fittings. I had to file the front edge and the two sides of the piece that fits into the slot. I think it will be as good as a patridge sight.

I took it out to the range this afternoon and the sight worked great. It looked like a patridge sight and I didn't even have to readjust the rear sight. I'm very satisfied with it.
