ShopRuger GP100 front sight post, red: like for like?

Hey yall. Checking out the ShopRuger store after purchasing a GP100 6" in stainless, and see they sell a nice looking red front sight.

Does anyone know if this is a like for like replacement for the black one that comes on the basic Gp100?

As far as I know it is. At one time I got a set that had solid colors; red, white, light blue, orange and yellow. They all fit just like the original.

Yes it's a perfect replacement for the black one, IF your GP100 has the spring plunger front sight. I just bought the the red insert sight and swapped it for the solid black one on one of my GP100s.

Yup. I also have the multi colored FS kit and the gold bead. All designed to replace the factory FS.
