I have a 345 and a 95 both are the DC style. I was talking about the 345 trigger pin parts. I'm sure mine is fine. Seems like I saw a ball bearing on one of these post but must be confused.

Me too...
I've never had the trigger out of mine. The P345 trigger has 2 holes in it and the P95 only one.
On the p353, looks like the little coil spring goes in a hole in the trigger, is pushed down in there, and then the trigger pivot pin slides in. I think the tiny ball bearing may fit on the top of the spring and rides in a groove created by the pivot pin...???
that's my guess anyway.
I'm not setup to do photos on this forum yet.

ALSO - while I had everything out of the frame, I noticed a little "lip"
or "flash" on the bottom of the hammer pivot pin hole (inside the frame).
With just the pin installed, it projected out past the back of the slot,
preventing the tab on the ejector from seating fully. The Ruger tech
said it's not supposed to be there & to file it off flush with the little
ramp on the inside of the frame that the tab fits aganst.
Sorry, I didn't get a foto of it before I took it off.

This may be the cause of many instances of the hammer pivot pin
"walking" out.

Apparently the Ruger trigger naysayers have never fired the P345. I got mine about a year into production & someone other than ol' Bill's regular trigger guy must'a designed it - smooth, with no creep & crisp break - just as I expect from any semi-auto, but didn't get on my P89.

I have thousands of rounds thru mine & unless the bullet is seated deeply enough, SWC's don't feed worth a damn. Never a problem with FMJ or HP's.
