Has anyone who has LC9S Pro had their slide cut for an red dot optic? If so, how did it work out?

Thanks...Dan

It’s doable. The gun runs fine with a dot. But the LC9s Pro wasn’t designed for optics, and it shows in the fit and the economics. If you love the gun and want to keep it in rotation, it’s a worthwhile upgrade. If you’re just looking for a slim optics-ready 9mm, you’re better off selling it and buying something that comes that way from the factory.

It would defeat the purpose of the LC9s, at least my purpose. I like the 9s because it is so thin and easy to conceal.

Even the smallest reflex sights would hang over the sides of the slide. If going that route, may as well get a double stack with the wider slide.

To add, in today's market it wouldn't cost much more to buy a new gun than it would cost to have the slide milled/drilled/tapped, and you get ANOTHER gun. WIN/WIN

Not if it’s your daily carry and the one that’s on your CCW
