It’s doable. The gun runs fine with a dot. But the LC9s Pro wasn’t designed for optics, and it shows in the fit and the economics. If you love the gun and want to keep it in rotation, it’s a worthwhile upgrade. If you’re just looking for a slim optics-ready 9mm, you’re better off selling it and buying something that comes that way from the factory.
To add, in today's market it wouldn't cost much more to buy a new gun than it would cost to have the slide milled/drilled/tapped, and you get ANOTHER gun. WIN/WIN
