Odd malfunction with my SR9

I have a post-recall SR9 with 1000+ rounds through it. If it matters, there's no Mag DC in the pistol.

I was firing it today, and though the first round I chambered fired fine, the striker didn't seem to recock and I was unable to fire the second round. I removed the mag and cleared the chamber, disassembled and reassembled the weapon, and fired 150 or so more rounds with no more problems.

Any thoughts on this, Ruger gurus?

Hmm... If it has only happened once in that many rounds, I wouldn't be super concerned, but I would still be a little concerned. How long had it been since you cleaned the pistol? How long since the striker channel has been cleaned?

Do you have an aftermarket trigger connector? or a polished/modified stock one?

I know my gun (sr40) would occasionally no recock the striker while dry-firing when I first installed my ghost rocket, but then it broke in a little bit and all was well.

Could be that you got a little bit of dirt or grime on the connector that kept the trigger from resetting.
