Not sure if this is the right forum, but it seemed the most correct.

Saw this on Nrastore.com this evening: http://www.nrastore.com/nrastore/ProductDetail.aspx?c=4&p=SA%2024417

I've been looking for something to hold a rifle to sight a red dot, but they are rather expensive and just hold the rifle.

Just wondered if anyone thoght this would work well enough, or if getting an actual rifle system is better.

Thanks.

Bruce

You may find the "MTM Site-in-Clean Rifle Shooting Rest" a better stand for this purpose.

It has a rear adjustment to assist with elevation of sighted rifle and a cover over a compartment for storing cleaning supplies. Rubber feet on the bottom prevent sliding of the stand on most surfaces. Sells for around $32-$35.

Hope this helps.
