Non Ruger scope ring recommendations.

For use on a Weaver base. What would you recommend? My criteria are steel rings, 2 screws per side and horizontal rings. I was using Leupold PRWs but they seem to have a record of cracking. I'm on the lookout for other suggestions. I still use steel Weaver rings for that matter.

Badger Ordnance, if your wallet can stand it. They only make 30mm (and larger) ID rings, but they do sell reducers.

Warne maxima horizontal. They are the Ruger of weaver ring, overbuilt and underpriced for the quality.
