I read recently that there is a new Titan coming out soon. From the photos it looks a lot like an F150. Your dealer might be trying to clear out present stock. Our family has had good luck with Nissans.

I'm in the market for a "new" used truck. The Titan is one I'm looking at. So are the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma, along with the F-150. I can't personally vouch for the Titan but friends who own them love them. I'm leaning towards another F-150, with the Tundra next. But...perhaps I'll give the Titan a test drive tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
My wife works for nisson they are not their best seller I looked at a used one 2 years ago it was very tinny but the power was amazing it would pass anything but a gas station 11-12 mpg also there is no room under the hood I think you would have to pull the engine to change a spark plug I think that one was an 2008

That should answer any questions one might have about the brand. My Chevy 6.0 gets 15-16 MPG and has all the room you might need. Son's Chevy 8.1 gets 10-12 MPG and I assure you it will pull a Nissan AND whatever load the Nizz is rated to pull.

I own a 2014 Titan and love it. It's not as pretty as the Ford, Chevys or Toyota, but it does get the job done. It's super on slick and snowy roads and on my last trip I got 17 - 18 miles to gallon. Mine is a 4 door and has ample room for my needs. This is my second one and may look into the new model that will have the 5.0 liter Cummings diesel....
For mileage you might want to consider one of these...(Info from Edmunds test)...

Nissans are good trucks, but as mentioned, they are not maintenance friendly.
Toyota makes a good truck too, but model for model, a used one cost more than a used Ford or Nissan. There might be a reason for that though, dunno....I've never owned one.
I guess in the end, we pays our money and we takes our choice.
Me?....the last used truck I bought is my 2001 Dodge Dakota 4-door, which was the last year for Chrysler's old-school iron engines. So far it's got a bit over 174K showing on the odometer, it's done everything I've asked it to do, and gets 15-19 MPG while doing it.

I bought a Titan King Cab 4x4 in 2007 after seven GM trucks spread over 40 years. 15 mpg highway, 12 or so combined. More power than any of the 350 or 5.3 engines I had, also no rust or numerous recalls. No problems so far, unlike the money pit 99 Silverado it replaced.

Well I do not know if they are still as good, but I had a 1994 Mazda pickup that only had a washer pump replaced and it ran until I had 349K trouble free miles, and I bought it used. You cannot say anything bad about that. If I remember correctly it was the B2000 model.

Back to the Nissans, a friend started with a Frontier, and is now on his third Titan. He puts on about 90 miles a day commuting, plus a day or two of sales calls to some of his customers every week or two, and used the Frontier and at least one of the Titans for that job before getting a Sentra for his commuter as gas prices rose.
Dunno how many miles he's put on any of them, but nothing he buys has much chance to get worn out. I kinda think he trades vehicles just to get a different color! He's been happy with all of his Nissan trucks despite the fact the Titans are a bit thirsty.
