Anyone still have their childhood air guns?
I have three, an old Daisy Model 25, a brass bolt, metal receiver Crossman 760 and pictured my beautiful S&W 77A 22 cal.

I still have my Sheridan Blue Streak from the 60s. Had it resealed a few years back. Works as good as new. I use it for mouse control in my barn. Also shoot it in my basement range.

From Lewis and Clark's Expedition (1804-1806) (Both of these examples!):

AND

"The Girardoni enjoyed a higher-capacity magazine than other rifle designs of the time, and their gun was anything but lovely compared to the brass-plated patch boxes and beautiful engraving on the flintlocks. You can see this model of air rifle at both the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia and the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri."

Well, since the door has been opened to CO2, I have a Crossman 600 .22 pellet gun, from when I was 15, 63 years ago. It still shoots fantastically, though 400 fps won't kill much. I restored the O-rings and now use it to sting deer in their buttocks, to get them to leave the property and not return. Sometimes I use a slingshot with lead balls, instead.

I still have my Crossman ".45" I got some 65 years ago. Not mine but since mine is buried in the safe a stock pic will do.

I think the bottom shield for the gas cylinder is missing....I will look in my photo album for a picture and post it if I can find it. No luck...too many computer transfers.....history for eBay sales do not go back far enough.

No, I don't have my original Crosman 760 from prehistoric times. I did pick up a Benjamin pump air rifle about 25 years ago that I still have.

Pellet guns didn't hit my tickle-bones until the last few years.

However, while doing garage sales locally, I did recently pickup a couple older .177 caliber rifles. One is a Daisy 120 that I went thru and cleaned up and re-blued with an instant Birchwood cold-bluing that really helped with looks. It's however missing the front and rear sights. It did come with an old Weaver K2.5 scope with the "sniper" reticle that I also cold-blued to help with the rusty finish and I customized the stock by sanding the old finish, filled scratches and spray painted it in a metallic purple-red. Now looking for a new low-power scope to install, to not put the Weaver back on. Might go with a Simmons 4 power, or 22 MAG that I've seen at Walmart.

The next .177 I picked up from same garage sale was an older "no-name" Chinese B3-1/? as it seems to have attributes from different models of the B3 series. No safety, steel rear sight, sling swivels, steel trigger guard, wood stock w/cheek rise and rubber butt pad. All these attributes make me think it has a bit from the series 1,2 and 3 to make it. It is complete and in remarkable good, clean condition, but it too having been in the owner's garage has some light rust on it, so I'll be taking it apart and doing a re-bluing to it also, but the stock is in great shape and still has that heavy, runny shellac coating on it and I'll not touch it.

Always wanted a B3 series since I've seen them, even though they make this style of under-lever type in quite a few newer manufacturers, so was quite happy and surprised when the original owner brought it out.

What was even nicer, was the price of $30 for both of these.

They'll go nicely with my Diana Chaser CO2 "pistol/rifle combo" in 22 and my Hatsan Model95 springer in .177
