Some more fireworks art for those who enjoy it. FYI you see things called rising effects on the first few shots. Rising effects are smaller fireworks attached to the main shell which are timed to display as the shell ascends. Some real show-stoppers in the first minute or so. Enjoy :)

That was absolutely gorgeous! I've been to a lot of fireworks in my life but nothing that beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Pierow!

FWIW: I had to look up the song. It's Bella's Lullaby by The Mick Lloyd Connection. It's worth a listen while watching the show or all by itself with your eyes closed:

We have a 'business conference' once a year on Lake Murray down near Columbia S.C. in September and do a fireworks display.... for a small group of Chimney Sweeps it is pretty impressive... there is a video of last year's somewhere... I'll look for it. The same guys that do the fireworks also run the 'stump shoot' the day before where we go through a couple thousand rounds of ammo in two hours and set off way too much tanerite.

Love to see the video Blume if you are able to post it.

Many years ago I had a chimney sweep check out a home I bought and he showed me his chimney sweep card which had a low number on it, like one of the first to be certified or something. Guy was pretty nifty and had a cool chimney sweep type hat that looked like it was from the movies. Cannot recall his name but he was 100% into his work.

Sure do gramps. Need lots of b.p. to lift shells, break them, power rockets, fill voids within the shells themselves with green mix (a slower burning version of b.p.), primes etc. I have yet to cook my own charcoal so that I do get from others that do. Willow charcoal makes a very hot, fast burning b.p.
