Went to get my first pistol yesterday and am now the proud new owner of an SR9c .
AND....as it happens the sales rep mentioned they had one LC9 .So ...I got it as well:lol:

Looks like I am hooked :)

Congrats Wes that is an awesome combo. The real addiction comes after you start to shoot them and eclipse your investment in ammo cost. At least your 2 brothers share the same ammo and it's reasonable to shoot at the range. Let us know how your first day out goes.

wow... way to start with 2 rugers at once!
I agree! After I bought my first Ruger, a P90, back in May 2010, I came into possession of two more, a 22/45 and a Super Redhawk 44Mag, on the same day in November 2010! :)

Face it, you have become hooked on a drug far more addictive than crystal meth or heroin. You are now addicted to Rugers! :D

Here is when the addiction started, the day I finally gave in , lol .Meet my two new best friends :)

Nice duo....

I'm green with envy that you have both already

Now, we need a range report comparing the two....

Lateck,

Way to jump in with both.... hands!!

Thinking about the LC9 or LCP for summer carry.

Now you have to get holsters for them as well, and then report back!!

Sweet.
I started with a 9mm KP89 and quickly picked up a 22/45 for some cheap fun with .22LR.
I added an LCP this month.
I want a PC9 but will probably wait a year as I need a 10/22 or two.

You are hooked !

I started out with a new stainless 4" GP100 in '09.
Bought a used black stainless SR9 in '10.
Added a new LCR in '11.
Will probably add a Ruger centerfire rifle soon.

ok...hooked is a habit. Now you may call me an addict!

In addition to the SR9c and the lil brother LC9...tomorrow I take possession of a 22 45 MarkIII Hunter and an LCR. :)

My one non Ruger will be the Beretta 92FS INOX I am also picking up tomorrow. I am an official Ruger nut case now, but that damned Beretta with rosewood grips is friggin classic, lol.

Next on my scope is a wee pup with a good bite- the LCP .

Sooo, within a week I own 5 Rugers. Color me sold  :!:

Yuppers to that Yawn . I simply decided it was time to do a thing I put off off for a long time.

My guess is as time goes on I will slowly add to my collection...for now I need to focus on being proficient with each . I am quite happy with my initial collection. Basically all high quality weapons with multiple carry / conceal options. Acceptable knock down with proper placement ( with the exception of the Mark III which is my ''fun gun''

I am done buying for while ( unless a deal falls in my lap :) , I will train and practice now for a bit .

When funds allow , I will be looking for a nice 1911 and then Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 or similar shotgun .

For now , call me Mr. Ruger :)

Yea, color me addicted. I want em all ,lol.

Nice picture. Enjoy your new friends! I've had a P-345 for a few years. Then my son bought an LCR. I had to have one. I thought it would be a good idea to get a 22/45 for some cheap range fun. I will test my new LC9 this afternoon. Oh no. I could be hooked

"I am done buying for while ( unless a deal falls in my lap". Ask my wife about that lie,I mean line! :D

Sounds like a good salesman. But he did you no wrong. Did you buy the rest from the same guy/shop?

You ramped up from Ruger fan to hooked to addict in near-record time. Welcome to the slippery slope.

You know you need a GP100 .357 or SBH real soon.

I just purchased an SR9c and love it.

You will love your 92fs INOX as well! Not to steer from Ruger here, but I've had zero failures with my 90 two through nearly 2500 rounds.

I'm addicted my Beretta and soon to be trusting putting my life in the hands of my SR9c as a CCW.

My Beretta...

Actually, the I got the 9mm's at Hyatts in Charlotte. Nice people to deal with and an enormous selection. The 22 45 and the LCR came from other sources.

Decided to hold off on the Glocks and the 92fs. I want to get proficient with the Rugers before I buy any more...( but I am picking up an LCP and a Crimson Trace laser for the SR9C this weekend.) :) The Beretta is definitely next !

Been busy at work so have not had time to shoot as much as I like, but I gotta say the SR9c is a SWEET pistol! Most of my range time has been with it. 450ish rounds thru the pipe and zero ftf, fte, just bang every time.

Hope to shoot the others some this weekend.

PS...@ Bapple - great looking pistol there bud !

Got the LCP and the Crimson Trace for the SR9c...also picked up a Glock 23 at one helluva price ! That one I will sell and use the profit to buy a Ruger 10 22 rifle or a Ruger P345 or an SR40...

Held off on the Beretta, for now.

Also looking for a good HD shotgun now :)

I love every gun I see now, so I have a full blown case of 2nd Amendment syndrome
