Novak offers an adjustable rear sight that will take the place of the fixed sight on the earlier GP 100 Match Champion.

Never made sense to have a target gun with fixed sights. Dennis, did you convince them of the errors of their ways???

Nope, can't take any credit on this one, wish I could. :)
They've listened to me a couple times here & there in the past, but I think you guys on the two Ruger forums had more to do with this new version than any one body.

I'm guessing that Novak wasn't part of the decision either. The sight was holding me back from buying one....not now. Another item to add to the Ruger purchasing list.

Hopefully we will hear of more good stuff during the SHOT show.

That's what they should have done in the first place! I'm not knocking Novak's, but they're really not the ideal rear sight for a target gun.

Also, I it's great the GP100 line has been getting some well deserved love from Ruger, I too am waiting on that 22LR model. I might end up with this new Match Champion as well.
