I HAD MY SERVICE SIX IN TO BE REFINISHED MY BLUEING WAS WORN AFTER 4300 PLUS ROUNDS AND ALOT OF FEILD CARRY IT WAS DUE . THE GUN CAME BACK AND NOW AFTER I SHOOT IT THE CYLINDER IS HARD TO OPEN THE EJECTOR ROD BACKS OUT I HAVE TO TIGHTEN THE ROD BY HAND THEN IT WORKS FINE FOR A LITTLE WHILE THEN THE SAME THING AGAIN THIS HAPPENS WITH 38 LOADS AS WELL AS 357 LOADS CAN I FIX THIS MYSELF OR DO I HAVE TO SEND BACK TO RUGER THANKS

First, you need to remove the "all caps" lettering. It appears as if you are shouting in computer speak.
Now, if it's just the ejector rod unscrewing, then it's an easy fix. All you will need to do is unscrew it all the way, take it out, clean the threads with alcohol, and then ad a NON permanent type of loctite. Reassemble, let set & enjoy.

This is a common problem with the Service Six and the Security Six revolvers. You can fix it with the Loctite method or you can put something around the rod to protect it then tighten the rod with a pair of pliers.

Thanks guy finally got some loctite blue all my local ace had was blue and red and the red seemed more permanet did as you guys said cleaned with rubbing alcohol 70 perchant isoppopyl not sure what that means but it worked so far shot 100 38 loads and 50 357 loads although i didnt load them hot so far all good no backing out so thanks to all for you help.
