I have a Mark II 22/45 and something happened to the magazine release button. The long 90 degree angle-ish retaining pin that follows the magazine well and then bends at the barrel and it held in by the trigger retaining pin is not retaining the magazine release button. The button just pops back out. I’m wondering if I’m missing a piece or what the deal is? It just bends and seats into a small hole but the button will cause it to pop out because it’s spring loaded. Has anyone run into this problem before? I got the pistol from my grand father so I’m not sure what could have happened to it.
