Thank you all for the information. The shops asking $629.00 plus tax. I think that's pretty high. I found a similar pistol on gunbroker that had a mag cylinder with it. Sold for 430.00. Oh well. I can't have them a I guess. Thanks again
Here’s another recent one that sold for $540 (+ tax, + shipping, plus transfer fees on your end), but it was a “Convertible,” with two cylinders. It also has the Ruger “billboard,” which I don’t care for… but that’s the way it came:

$500ish would be the asking price I would expect to see on the example described by you… perhaps with a little room for bargaining.
I agree with you- I think $629 is pretty high for a used example, especially with questionable grips and unknown modifications. Flip side:
if the action were “tuned” by a famous single-action ‘smith (Bowen, Harton, et al), all bets are off!
Dan, aka rugerguy, might reference “the pucker factor,” in that scenario!
Another one will come along, especially if you watch the auction sites.
I remember Mike Reber (“acrylictnk”) selling a
pile of them here in 5.5” and 6.5” barrel lengths, a few years back. I also recall that he gave us a nice discount off MSRP, as was his usual practice!
