Right. First it's rigged to increase revenue, and then it isn't. And of course the owners, coaches, players and refs are all in on the fix. Right. Such a simple thing to do. Funny how NO ONE has come forth with ANY evidence supporting such a conspiracy. Not one player, referee, coach, ball boy, no one. The shadow league must pay awfully well to maintain such blanket silence. Give me a break.

It IS a simple thing to do. If you can't see 'pro sports' is a business, out to make the most money possible, you're blind.

It's a long jump of assumption to go from, "Pro Sports is a business out to make the most money possible" to "they rig games". The reality is the are alot of legitimate ways pro sports can ensure they make the most money possible that doesn't involve game rigging. However the fact that you took that incredible leap without considering any other alternatives and with no actual evidence is quite funny.

I surely hope not. Especially when you're point is the league is rigging games and that was a handful of players getting paid to throw a series in a gambling operation, separate from the league. I mean, that is the point you were woefully trying to make, correct?

From what I recall he always bet his own team to win. He never bet otherwise so I never had a problem with Pete, ever.

Yes, thanks for the correction. Just one title against the Warriors and the other two Spurs and Thunder.

The neat thing about being down 3 nothing is the possibility of an amazing comeback. We'll see what LeBrron and company has in store for game 4.

Not to derail this thread, I'm happy for Ovechkin. Nice to see him and theirs hoist the Stanley Cup.
