I was looking for any loads that you might be making that seem to be a good combination for the SR9c. Bullet and powder info would be greatly appreciated. I know 9mm is cheap ammo to buy but I prefer to reload my own, I enjoy the time at the bench and I prefer a consistent load.

Any bullet over Power Pistol, 3N37, or Ramshot Silhouette (WAP).

Montana Gold bullets are excellent, and you can use their 130g .356" FMJ-RN successfully in virtually all 9x19 guns.
Penn Bullets offers a superbly accurate and good-feeding 125g LRN for less money.
Sort all cases by headstamp.
Recommend CCI500 primers.
Finish crimp using the LEE Carbide Factory Crimp die.
Suggest a RN OAL of 1.130--1.155", based on specific launch platform.

Basic safe load, pistol or subgun: 115g RN, CCI500, OAL 1.130", 5.5g Unique.

Sorry to bring this topic up, but I have decided to start reloading the 9mm. I would like to use my favorite hard lead dealer. No leading below 1500fps.
I do not know where to start....... any advice is welcome.

It'll be a few days before I get a chance to do some testing with lead bullets. I have a Lyman "M" die on the way, hopefully it makes it by the weekend. In the mean time I'm using a 115gr Montana Gold JHP on top of 5.5gr of Silhouette & a WSP. I've tried 231, Power Pistol, Clays, Unique (get the pressure up and it isn't dirty), Universal, & Bullseye. IMR 4756 is next on my list but I really like Silhouette for accuracy, haven't had a chance to run it over a chrono yet. Lead bullets need to fit. I cast a 125hp or 130fp from a Mihec brass mold, size to .358 and use the Lyman "M" die to help flare the case & align the bullet. If the BHN is too low, the case will actually size the bullet smaller. The M die helps this situation. I load several other calibers and cast my own with all of them from .30cal to .45/70 & the M die really makes a difference.

Things fell into place for once and I had a chance to experiment with some loads for my SR9C and a new mold from MP molds. I rec'd my "M" die and loaded a few to test. I started with Win. 231 since I have about 12lbs of it to use. I started with 4gr and worked up to 4.5, leading increased w/each step up so I switched to Unique. Still ran into leading issues. I've been wanting to try IMR 4756, I had a little over 1/2 a can of some old powder in a metal can so I thought I'd give it a shot. I think I like it. I still need some trigger time with the SR9C but my hi-point seems to work very good with it. I have a red dot on the carbine & think that helps with accuracy because I can see the dot better than these 40yo eyes can see the sight picture on the SR9C. The best thing is there is no leading, zero, nada, zip, zilch, none. I also tried PB powder and no leading with it either, accuracy was about the same for both the SR9C & the hi-point w/PB. It seems to put the empty cases all in one neat pile instead of chucking them into who knows where. A fresh reminder why I shoot wheelguns mostly. I was going to try Silhouette w/lead bullets but I loaded all I had w/the 115jhp Montana Gold bullets and Powder Valley is out of the 4lb'ers so it'll have to wait for another day.

The hard cast I get do not lead up to 1500 fps. The caster said it and I push them hard in my .44 SBH with zero leading.
