I am a subscriber to Load Data. I find it useful.
However, I load several different calibers of handguns (and formerly, rifles). If you only have one or two calibers, you might have a different take.
One thing I like about Load Data is that some of the calibers that I use, like .44 Special, have realistic load data. The regular loading manuals do not recognize the newer, stronger, .44 Special revolvers (like the new Ruger Flattops) and the information available does not allow one to realize the potential of these calibers. I am NOT talking about "hot rodding" the .44 Special but, as a for instance, the Skeeter Load (which is well within pressure limits of the newer .44 Special revolvers but is also well over manual recommendations).
