Let's face facts folks, the price of revolvers made of steel and alloy are rising. The plastic parts keep the price down.
That being said, I find a semi-auto handgun easier to handle than my old revolvers. Superblackhawk excepted, but I am of an age where carbine .44 Magnums look better and better.

Who takes his SP-101 4" .22LR to the range every trip, my T-514 MK II as well.

LCRs are great guns. But I don't really see a use for this version. It ruins it for pocket carry. It might make a bit of sense if they made it in a 3" or 4" barreled gun.

Ruger could have put an exposed snag free hammer on it like the J frame S&W Bodyguard, and it would have been the best of both worlds.

I have a 22LR LCR that's handy for running my trapline just because I don't need a holster for it like I do with my 22LR SP101. I've often thought an exposed hammer could be nice just in case the need for a longer distance shot was needed.
